1. First, we listen to you.

Without obligation, your Primesite building Professional will discuss with you your needs, wants and ideas for your home. They will give you honest and frank advice about the best way to move your project forward. In some cases building may not be the best option.

Your Primesite Professional will also outline what ‘homework’ you need to do to start the design process, such as measuring the rooms in your existing home and making lists of the key things you are looking for in your new home.


2. Your vision to fit your budget.

If you wish to proceed further with Primesite, we offer a free budget appraisal service. Here we do an in depth design brief so an accurate pre-design budget can be produced. Unlike many other companies, you will be told the total cost of your project upfront.

If the client is happy with the budget, we then begin scheme designs based upon the design brief and approved budget. A modest fee is charged for the scheme drawings, which will be credited against the contract sum should the project proceed. Your Primesite Professional will provide you with details of this.

We also have an extensive library of design concepts, which will assist in the process of formatting a design that meets your exact requirements.


3. Down to the detail.

Once your scheme drawings are completed and any final investigations required for your particular site have been finalised, Primesite will provide you with a fixed price and specification. The fixed price will not alter during construction unless you authorise changes to the contract in writing.

It is important for you to remember that at this stage in the process you are under no obligation to proceed with building.


4. Our promise to you - contracts & guarantees.

Once you are happy with the scheme drawings and pricing, contracts are prepared and need to be checked by your lawyer or another suitably qualified independent advisor. When these contracts are ready for signing, you are making a commitment to proceed with building.

At this point you will be sign your 10 Year Master Build Guarantee. This guarantee covers your new home for loss of deposit, completion workmanship, materials and the structure for the noted terms of the guarantee. It is important to realise, only a Registered Master Builder can offer a guarantee that is underwritten by Master Build Services Ltd, a subsidiary of the Master Builders Federation. Please make sure you are aware of the conditions and abide by the terms of the guarantee document.


5. Red tape made easy.

Once the contracts are finalised, construction drawings are prepared. This is your opportunity to have a good look at the drawings and to do any fine-tuning. Building consents are then lodged with the relevant local body.


6. The finishing touches

So that your project can be planned and runs smoothly, Primesite will guide you through the process of choosing the fittings and fixtures for your new home prior to commencing work on site. A colour consultant will work with you to coordinate interiors and help you add that extra touch of something special to your home.

Making decisions early in the project frees up your time to watch and enjoy the building process, without being constantly contacted for one off decisions.


7. Building excitement!

You are welcome on site at any time. Our friendly onsite staff will take time to discuss the process with you and make you feel at ease. Building sites can be dangerous, so we ask that you respect the health and safety requirements in place.

Our teams of trades-people have been built up over many years and all have been selected for the consistent quality of their work and reliability. Our supervisors are in regular contact with the onsite teams, ensuring that every detail is completed to Primesite’s exacting standards.
