Full end to end service, including sub division plans, building consents, and fully customised design.

After being successful with the tender for the purchase of their section in Karori, Michael and Patsy Curtis contacted Mike Fox of Primesite Homes.

Primesite gave them several options on what size and types of houses they could build on the section.

Mike and Patsy said: “The brief was that as it was an established area we wanted the home to fit in with the surroundings that meant we didn’t want a house with round curves even though we quite like those houses. Living was to be downstairs, and bedrooms all upstairs”.

The package offered from Primesite was a turn-key operation … from the moment we bought the section they did everything from arranging the sub-division plans, and obtaining the connection of services. There was some time lapse while we obtained resourse consent from the five neighbouring boundaries as the house exceded the height planes.

From the design point of view we pointed out some features in houses we had seen that we liked that were a benchmark but we’re not people that look at a hundred taps … a tap is a thing that water comes out of. It is difficult for companies to keep up with what technology is available so we used the internet as a medium for sourcing the latest in appliances. The rangehood over the stove was obtained from searching on the net. For anyone building a home I recommend using the web … sites like Fisher and Paykel can be valuable for downloading brochures.

Once the building started everything was perfectly handled and since living in the house we have had no problems.
