Over 16 years, three major renovations, plus a subdivision and new build.  Not used just once … but 3 times.

Downstairs Renovation:  Our first business dealings with Primesite Homes dates back to 1995 with a major interior reconstruction of the lower level of a house to provide two dwelling units, an excellent result, on time and on budget, with every aspect of the contract from architect drawings to final completion included in the contract.

Subdivision and New Build:  Five years later, with Primesite Homes contract management, the large garden areas of two adjacent homes were subdivided into a site for a new home for ourselves. The contract covered survey and subdivision to create title for the new site, extensive ground works and retaining walls with associated engineering planning, architectural planning, and then construction of a new house to final completion. Building construction was sound in every detail, virtually nil maintenance, and in excellent condition after ten years in a full sun, sea spray and high wind zone designated area. 

Twin Townhouses Renovated:  In 2010, in a plan to move from a hill site to easier facilities, twin two level attached modern town houses were purchased, but requiring major internal reconstruction to suit a different living arrangement from the existing plan. Work included extensive fire and sound ratings, reuse of existing fittings where appropriate, precision installation of a passenger lift, and other challenging building situations.  Primesite Homes again arranged all aspects from planning, building consents, partial demolition, and reconstruction to the new plans. As an existing building, several previously unknown factors arose during the build, and were all resolved with good negotiation and goodwill in every case.

Our Total Experience:  In summary, we have had three excellent contract relations with Primesite Homes over a period from 1995 to 2011, great communication on all aspects on a continuing basis, workmanship of consistently high quality and attention to detail.  We have referred friends to Primesite Homes, resulting in a successful new home built for them, and will continue to refer any future opportunities, with confidence in the ensuing experience.
